King Beast (from Beauty and the Beast) and some of the other Disney fairy tale ‘good guys’ have banished the most infamous ‘bad guys’ (Maleficent, Cruella de Vil, The evil Queen from Snow White and others) to The Isle of the Lost – an island covered by a magical dome.
The villains and their descendants are imprisoned on the island and are never able to leave. They have also been stripped of all their magical powers.
The villains’ children, Mal (daughter of Maleficent), Carlo (son of Cruella), Jay (son of Jafar) and Evie (daughter of the Evil Queen), feel pressure to be evil ike their parents.
The story begins with Mal not being invited to Evie’s birthday. Remember when Maleficent was not invited to Aurora’s birthday! Grudges can last a long time in this world. The children become ‘bad friends’ and collaborate to find Maleficent’s evil scepter.
This book is a prequel to the Disney ‘Descendants’ series. All of our favourite heroes and villains from the world of Disney fairytales appear in its pages.
