This is my way of getting my favorite book into the list because I gave the letter T to another book :)
This book series is based around Celaena a famous assassin. After being betrayed Celaena is arrested for her crimes and is sent to work in extremely poor conditions at a mine run by prisoners
Celaena gets the opportunity of a life time when crowned prince, Dorian, invites her to compete in a secret competition to become the Kings new Champion (basically his new hit man) . If she wins she will earn her freedom after 5 years of service, but to win the competition she will need to beat other blood thirsty thugs.
But after arriving at the Kings glass castle Celeana must not only brush up on her sword skills but also learn the ways of court life while keeping her real reason for being there a secret. When competitors start turning up brutally murdered around the castle Celeana has to watch her back in and out of the competition hall... and when shes visited by a long dead queens ghost telling her that shes part of an ancient prophecy this story has a lot to dive into....
